Dallas school’s vocabulary program TIPs English learners toward success

At Jimmie Tyler Brashear Elementary, a "text, information, picture" (TIP) vocabulary program helped English learners excel, with 80% of 2nd graders reaching the top tier of the school's language assessment within two years.
